if you lost your nokia mobile phone and found it some where and there is a need to authenticate that the mobile is yours can be done by serial no on the phone box. Compare the serial no on the box to the serial no from the phone by typing *#92702689#. By typing *#92702689# you can get the unique serial no of your phone as well as date it was made and Purchase date (if it was filled on the purchase date). After entering the code the phone has to be switched off and restart it to make it fully operational.
